Eagle's Talont - Game 1

Postby Prof. Arielle Lemoyne » Sat Nov 16, 2019 11:03 pm

At the end of every game the team votes on who wins the Eagle's Talont. This award is an honour presented to the Ravenclaw Quidditch player who combines great trivia knowledge with good sportsmanship.

Our first game of the season was against our toughest opponent - SQT. Although we lost by quite a bit, there were many highlights to the game! Maxim kept our spirits high while taking on the challenging role of keeper, Alexander had a great performance as beater against one of HOL's fastest players, and Elena held off the SQT seeker from scoring for the whole game.

The Talont award goes to a player who made their debut this game. In their very first game, this player had several hits and multiple goals as chaser, and then stepped in as keeper and kept us going through the end of the game. Congratulations to Astor Arensin!!

I absolutely adore all of the teamwork and spirit that RQT always has, no matter who we're playing or what the score is. Congratulations, all, for the work you did accomplish during that game. I'm sorry I couldn't be there.

And congratulations, Astor. We're so happy to have you on the team! :D
