YES I AM A GIANT DORK BUT!

A bunch of us lovely Eagles were talking about shows we used to watch when we were little, and I stumbled over this quote from Care Bears;

Baby Hugs: Us eagles love soup.
Hugs' Shadow: That's right. Worm soup!
Baby Hugs: Worms? Yuck! I don't want to be an eagle!
Hugs' Shadow: Okay. Popcorn soup!
Baby Hugs: Popcorn soup? That's funny.

The muffin films! It's a collection of online videos about muffins. "Don't you like braaaaan muffins?" Oh, classic!

If anyone's seen Firefly (which is absolutely amazing, by the way), a common phrase is "two-by-two, hands of blue."

I didn't see this on here (*gasp*), but I might've missed it: Fly Like an Eagle, by the Steve Miller Band.

Blue Bird, a song by Ikimono-Gakari. (It's also Naruto Shippuuden soundtrack, but please, I'm not a Naruto fans. I just love Ikimono-Gakari)

In West Java, Indonesia, there's an archaeology site called `Gunung Padang` (literally means shining mountain... or something like that). That place is guarded by an eagle. Does that count?

In the anime Saint Seiya: Poseidon Chapter, Scylla Io who guards the South Pacific Ocean Pillar have an attack called "Eagle Clutch"

The Aquila/Eagle constellation. The myth says it was Aetos Dios, Zeus' Eagle.

I know many songs that have `blue` in its title or lyric. Maybe I'll post that later :D

In popular usage:
to be "eagle-eyed"
"the eagle has landed"

Blue is the 3rd film in the french film trilogy Red, White and Blue.

"Blue-eyed soul" is a musical genre.

"Between the devil and the deep, blue sea" is a saying that means one has a seemingly no-win decision to make.

to have "blue-blood" is to be royal or at least be in the aristocracy.

I don't know many about muffins...

Sorry for any repeatitions from previous posts!

"Blue Bloods" is also an American cop drama, refering to a family that is all involved in law enforcement in some way. Here the blue blood refers to a joke that they bleed blue like the color of their uniforms.

This may have been already mentioned but there's an older band that is still popular called "The Eagles".

Blues Clues is an American children's show.

The famous shriek of the Bald Eagle thatr everyone knows? It's actually the cry of a Red Tailed Hawk [The Bald Eagle cry was deemed too wimpy for such a powerful, important bird and so the dubbed over it].

Raisin Bran Muffins are something like a joke, automatic old people food.
