Volare by Domenico Mogduno is actually Nel blu, dipinto di blu which in english means in blue painted blue. It is the blue sky painted blue. volare means to fly.

To my knowledge, there are least 3 teams that will feature in the 2010 FIFA World Cup that fall into this category:

The first one being the French team Les Bleus - meaning "The Blues".

Nigeria, otherwise known as "The Super Eagles", is one of the teams I will be supporting - and not just because of its name! :)

And the third one is Japan's football team, "The Samurai Blues".

I believe there was a Muggle talking picture called "Revenge of the Nerds" which sounds like it may be commemorating the famous Ravenclaw mutiny of 2001 carried out in reprisal for the Great Slytherin Wedgie Contest of the previous year.

Was going to mention the song Blue Moon-- which I remember chiefly because, IIRC, it was used in American Werewolf in London -- but I see it's already been mentioned.

Does the TV show Hill Street Blues count?

How about the song Blueberry Hill?

And there is -- I kid you not -- a book called The Blue Fairy Book, part of a series (each book named after a colour) of fairy tales collected by Andrew Lang around the turn of the century -- the 19th/20th century, that is: The Blue Fairy Book was first published in 1889.

I'm not sure if this counts, but the other day Nelson Mandela (former president of South Africa) was awarded with The Order of the Aztec Eagle - which is awarded by Mexico for services given to Mexico or humankind.

And speaking of awards - I did a bit of research - the highest rank within the American boys scout programme is the Eagle Scout, which is a title that is held for life - and interestingly enough gave rise to the phrase, "Once an Eagle, always an Eagle" (which I think is very Ravenclaw-appropriate :) )

And there is also an American rock band that was formed in the 70's that is called "The Eagles".

Blue:
So, something that is probably only cultural at my university: Cosmic blue chicken (something from one of the religion professors that got around)
"The red, white and blue"- found in numerous songs, etc. to refer to the US flag.
"Red, Hot & Blue"- a barbeque restaurant chain in the US
Jet Blue- a US budget airline
The St. Louis Blues- US [ice] hockey team
I don't remember if anyone mentioned the song Blue Moon.
I know no one mentioned the phrase "Once in a blue moon," meaning a rare event
The term "blue moon" refers to either/both the third full moon in a season with four full moons (so that moons 1,2,4 would be "on time") or the second full moon in a month (more recent usage).

Eagle:
American Eagle Outfitters- A clothing store chain and brand
The great eagle in the Lord of the Rings (sorry, don't remember his name)

Sadly, I needed to look up Muffin references:
Guitarist Ryan Giammo is known as "the Muffin Man"
book: "Blueberry Muffin Murder" by Joanne Fluke (also works for blue)
book: "Blueberry Muffin's Book: An Adventure in Blue" (a Strawberry Shortcake book) by Lisa Workman

I am going off of not reading what everyone has written, so if anything has been mentioned already, I'm sorry!

Blue
-There is a song called "Blue Monday" by a band named Orgy. I'm not making that up. It's a pretty good little euro-techno-nu-metal song.
-The TARDIS is referred to a lot as the Big Blue Box. I'm surprised no one has mentioned it.
-the band Blue oyster cult how brought us the wonderful song Don't Fear The Reaper with the wonderful cow-bell part!
- a song called bluebird by Cassie Steele (Manny on Degrassi)
- "Blue Denim" one of my favorite songs off of Ben Lee's cd The Rebirth Of Venus

Muffins
-What would you like for breakfast johnny? Muffins! That's right! Muffins my favorite viral video!
-I know this isn't pop culture, but my friend and I used to say it all the time, but we would say, "Don't forget to eat your muffins before they eat you!"

Eagles
-There's a band named Eagle-eyed cherry
-The band Eagles

I may be mistaken, but I don't think anyone's mentioned The Who's song Behind Blue Eyes. :)

Also, there's a Seinfeld episode involving muffins, and a guy ends up starting a cafe called Top of the Muffin, where they only sell "the best part of the muffins". (Of course, getting rid of the "muffin stumps" turns out to be a problem.)

Speaking of "Top of the Muffin", there's also the idea of the Muffin Top...

This might be a slight stretch, but there's also a website, "The Legendary Lilypad", and one of the main characters of the videos / art is Kerrigan who's favorite food is muffins. :) The video "Kerrigan and the Frog" is particularly muffin-filled.
