Task 8: Ice Sculpting Contest
Posted: Sat Jan 01, 2022 5:18 pmYou've noticed there is an ice sculpting contest finishing up by the Icy slide. You are curious to see what the sculptors have designed their sculptures to look like.
Each of the Sculptors have been allotted 5 hours to create their sculptures. At 3 p.m. you've noticed that some of the sculptors are standing around waiting for the winners to be announced while others are still putting the finishing touches on their creations. The winners will be announced after 4pm when the contest ends.
1. Of the sculptors there are Bill, the one who sculpted an owl, the one who finished at 3:30, the one who placed 1st, and Christopher.
2. Lucas either sculpted a cat or a cauldron.
3. The 1st place winner finished before 4 p.m. but after the person who created the cat sculpture.
4. The person that finished their sculpture first (at 3 p.m) didn't win 5th place.
5. Debra either finished her sculpture at 3:15 p.m or sculpted an Owl.
6. Trudy finished her sculpture at 3:45 p.m. She didn't create an Abraxan (A type of flying horse).
7. The sculpture of a house crest won 1st place.
8. Debra placed one place higher then Bill but after Christopher.
9. The last person to put the finishing touches on their sculpture created a sculpture of an Abraxan.
10. The person who finished at 3:15 p.m. created the cauldron sculpture. The person who created a cat sculpture placed 5th.
11. Of the 5 people who placed one was Trudy, one sculpted a cat, one placed 3rd, one placed 2nd, and one created a sculpture of a cauldron.

Post your drawings (keep images to 600x600 px or under) below or pm (Mia Fountain) your answers to the logic puzzle in this format "Lucas- Owl- 1st place- 3 p.m." (not necessarily the correct answers). Complete this task by January 31 by 11:59 pm HOL time, to earn 10 beans.
