To finish off this activity, we have one of the holidays celebrated on the final day of May, the 31st, and of course, I wanted to end on a positive note, so this task is about National Smile Day!

Smiling is one of the most powerful and beautiful parts of humanity. Smiling is proven to help form a connection between two people more quickly, change the opinion of others about a person, and even pretending to smile can make someone feel happier by default. Smiles can also be infectious - meaning if you try to smile, you are also actively helping everyone around you to smile a little more as well.

Task:
Share something that makes your smile! This could be a memory, a hobby, an experience, or an item, whatever the prompt makes you think of, as long as your post is at least 100 words.

Share your submission below to earn 10 beans/sapphires, plus a potential 10 beans/sapphires for completing all the Week 4 tasks by the end of the activity. All submissions are due at 11:59pm on June 13th.

One hobby of mine that I absolutely love and that brings me joy in the form of a smile is painting wooden shapes. I'm by no means a skilled painter, which is why I need shapes to help me out. However, I try to put my own creative twist on it if I feel capable, and it wouldn't completely destroy the look. It's overall a calming activity that I try to do near holidays. Sometimes, I keep them for myself; more often than not, I use them to decorate some family gravestones since I know my family visits more often than I do, and I want to give them something more meaningful to look at and serve as a way of remembrance.
