Task 5: Picking out your Costume

Postby Mia Fountain » Mon Oct 09, 2023 1:28 pm

There will be a costume contest, and you plan on participating. It’s a Hogsmeade weekend and you need to pick out your costume or the materials to make it. Will you pick a costume out in Hogsmeade or create your own? Tell us about your costume by showing us a picture or writing about it in 50 words or more.

Post your costume below by October 31st at 11:59 pm HOL time for 10 beans. If you post an image of your costume, be sure it is 600x600 pixels or less.

I love the look of different shade feathery wings, coupled with red contacts, some braids, a little bit of webs in the hair and a classy hat. Some spidy earrings and a high-necked shirt and pencil skirt. All ready for Halloween.

I decide to use my magical powers to craft an enchanted costume that will be the talk of the contest. First, I collect some shimmering moon dust, glistening dewdrops, and delicate spider webs from the Forbidden Forest, which will serve as the foundation for my costume.

Using my wand, I magically weave together these ethereal elements into a flowing, fairy-like dress, sparkling with the light of the moon. Next, I would transform my hair into a long, silver braid adorned with leaves and tiny flowers. My final touch would be a pair of sparkling, butterfly-like wings made from thin strips of wood and ethereal fibers, which attach seamlessly to my dress.

I went with a zombie theme this year. I have fake teeth that look rotten and like they may fall out. I have makeup to make myself look pale and bloody. I also have clothes that are really dirty and look really old and ragged with tears all over. I did add some magic to make myself look even more like a zombie. For example, I used a stinging hex which actually stung quite badly, but it definitely added to the look.
