If you chose a muggle airplane then there was an emergency landing. If you chose muggle buses then the bus broke down. If you chose floo powder, you were let out at the wrong fireplace. If you flew on your broomstick, your broomstick caught fire and you had to land. If you apparated, unfortunately you were splinched (not severely thankfully) and still ended up in the wrong place. You get the idea.
So it looks like, you will need to find out where you are before you can decide the next steps.
