April 2021 Monthly Theme Song

Postby Gail Allen » Sun Apr 11, 2021 9:11 am

For this month I have so far been listening to a lot of instrumental music because it helps me study and I have found out that there are actually a LOT of these pieces that I really enjoy listening to simply for their own sake!

So I've been wondering what some of the favourite instrumental pieces of my fellow eagles are.

I have a lot of my favourite but this one is amazing! And I always feel like I'm in the Middle Earth every time I listen to this instrument.

Carol of the Bells (Orchestral Version)
George Carlaw & the Avalon Pops Orchestra

"Oh, how they pound // Raising their sound // O'er hill and dale // Telling their tale"

Love this song. Just absolutely ADORE the way the instrumentals sound, even without any lyrics. It's right up there with one of my all time favorite pieces of music in the Snow Scene from The Nutcracker. Apparently I'm a big fan of that wintery, seasonal vibe when it comes to this sorta thing, haha. Even though we're just now finally coming out of winter here in Maine, I could listen to stuff like that all year long!
