With such name as “Nevermore.”

Ungainly Fowl

An Ungainly Fowl
it flew through my window
and perched at the end of my bed
it's beady eyes
so wary

so full of hatred
so full of fear,
I watched it
hop from post to post
it's wings now outstretched

almost to take flight
almost to attack,
yet there it sits,
now on my beedsheets,
it's wings tucked back

it's head tilted sidewards
however,
those eyes that held malice
held evil
still trained upon me,
and felt like it passed upon to
me knowledge
