Participants who do not opt out of game play when joining in will have a card drawn for each tasks completed and moved according to the color pulled. One must land on the final violet position [8.6] then pull either a Blue or Violet card in order to reach the end. Cards will be 'drawn' for you using a virtual 6-sided die for each pull, with results listed on both this Game Board and the Player Logs post below. Participants should generally expect to finish comfortably within the third or fourth weeks of game play. While it is possible to race through, it's equally possible to get tripped up with too many unfavorable cards.

Please note that just because someone may have reached the Frosted Crown “first” doesn’t mean they are guaranteed to be the first or only first place winner. If two or more people land in the final spot on the game board over their 13th turn (not thirteenth card, as they will have pulled more than this by then), they’ll each be considered winners regardless of who submitted first. In the unlikely event nobody reaches the final position, first place will go to anyone who finishes the furthest, then so on with second and third places.

To further clarify any understandable confusion with how first, second, and third place winners are determined now that we have players reaching the end:

This is about seeing which participants reach the end over the earliest number of turns, rather than who reached the end first in real time. Meaning someone could submit enough tasks on the final day of our activity and still come in first place should their cards dictate they finished “first” based on number of turns (tasks) needed to arrive ‘before’ or ‘at the same time’ as others.
