Once again you find yourself in the Haunted Hallway but this time it has a ghostly overlay of the Entrance Hall that fades in and out. You worry that this room will forever be a cycle of going to the end and ending up back at the beginning of the hallway for the rest of your life. But you will help the crying bride and you will get out of here.
As you make your way back down the hallway, you find that the only portrait in it now was of Circe. You cautiously make your way towards her and say hello when you're near. She turns her head to look at you head on and smiles. It makes you shudder.
"Answer my questions and you shall move forth. You are close to the end so make sure you get them right or you'll find yourself here forevermore."
Task:
Circe gives you a series of ten questions and requires you to answer them correctly in order to move on. Send your answers in a PM to me AND to Prof. Sindor Aloyarc.
1.) Who are Circe’s parents?
2.) What is Circe known for doing to her enemies and those who have offended her?
3.) Where did Circe live according to Greek legend?
4.) In Homer’s Odyssey, Hermes gives Odysseus a plant to protect him from Circe’s magic. What was the plant?
5.) What did Circe do to Picus when he turned down her offer of marriage?
6.) Circe had a vast knowledge of what two subjects?
7.) What did Circe do to the sea-nymph Scylla?
8.) Name two of Circe’s siblings.
9.) Circe has popped up in many modern books, comics, TV shows, and movies. In the Percy Jackson book, Sea of Monsters, what does she turn Percy into?
10.) Circe is voiced by whom in Disney's Hercules: The Animated Series?
