As November creeps in, the house of Ravenclaw is prepared to run one of their anticipated events: the Blue Bronze Olympics!

While a nest-versus-nest competition always spans across the year, this is an annual opportunity to face off a little more directly together with a bit of lighthearted fun.

Members of the house, along with some visitors, have stormed the quidditch pitch, where a handful of eagle staff members are making sure everything is off to a smooth start.

Getting bumped along in all the excitement, you’re thrilled at being handed a set of quidditch robes upon completing the registration process.

“Wasps, over on this side please,” someone projects above the roar of voices, gesturing to an open area of the field, “Arrows over there.”

This BBO, you and the other participants are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to play up a great rivalry within the world of magical sports, as everyone is divided into teams of the Appleby Arrows and the Wimbourne Wasps.

You hear a spattering of opinions being thrown around about who feels some type of way —for better or worse— about either of the teams and their history together (among those who say they would have preferred wearing the colors of an entirely different team).

But the plans aren’t for these games to be played like a regular match. Which some people are bummed about, while the rest are relieved. Although broomsticks and flying may be involved, there will be a range of different challenges for people to earn points for their team toward becoming the victors.

You can’t wait to find out what interesting tasks are in store for you, your teammates, and your opponents to show off a variety of skills and see who comes out triumphant!
