I'm not sure if this has already been asked or answered....but what exactly are sapphires? What are they used for? And how do we get them?
Thanks.

In an effort to make the amazing Ravenclaw even more phenomenal, I give you the Ravenclaw's new Activity Points!! There are so many Eaglets that are active, get involved and participate in the numerous activities and contests around the Roost, and now we want to reward you for it! Yes you heard right - we want to reward YOU for having FUN here in the ROOST!
How does it work?
The Ravenclaw Activity Points (RAPs for now), will be given out on a monthly basis. Points can be earned in numerous ways:
*Submissions to the Ravenclaw Library - 5 RAPs/complete published submissions
*Posting in the Debate Club - 2 RAPs/post
*Posting in the RPG area - 1 RAP/post (To a maximum of 20 RAPs)
*Participation in contests in the Roost - 20-30 RAPs, depending on how long they stick with it if there's elimination involved
*Organizing a contest in the Roost - However many RAPs participation is worth
*Monthly challenges - 10 RAPs for effort, and an additional 5 for getting it right
*Ravenclaw Brain Challenge - 10 RAPs for getting it right
*Earning Quills - 15 RAPs/quill
*Adopting an Eaglet - 5 RAPs/Eaglet
*Signing up to be Adopted - 10 RAPs
*Botting - 1 RAP/25 points --> to a maximum of 20 RAPs, because we have crazy botters on RQT as it is
*Cheering at RQT games - 5 RAPs
*Nominating People for Eagles and Year End Awards - 1 RAP/nomination
**Plus whatever else your lovely staff/prefects/reserves come up with!
All activity points will be tracked in a spreadsheet that everyone has access to, and it will be updated monthly. You can take a look at an example HERE. As soon as September has ended and our first points are being awarded I'll update the spreadsheet and post a new link with all the proper students!!
At the end of each term there will be an award given to the person who's earned the most points! Points will be awarded retroactively.
