Week One - Task #01. - "Jibber Jabber"

You decided to do a bit of research on jinxes and hexes since the threats started.

“Watch your back.”

What does that even mean? You think to yourself as you exit the library with your hands filled with books.

A few must reads, Defence against the dark arts, Standard book of spells full volume set, Dark Charms, Defensive/offensive spells, Counter/Anti Spells and so on.

It’s not like it was your fault they were caught picking on you. You continue in thought as you head through the corridor.

You look around and suddenly feel very vulnerable and paranoid. Why does it feel like when anyone looks at you they might do something to you…

”....Cerebr…” You suddenly hear someone behind you.

”Was that a swelllllle…” You start to feel your brain fog and confusion kick in.

”Wwwwit isss happnin? You struggle to keep a thought. You drop your books on the floor and sit down with your back to the corridor wall.

Distant laughter in the background fading away.

After what feels like a long while of just sitting on the corridor floor, and having some brain functionality returning, you decide to open one of the counter jinx books to look for something to help undo what was done.

As you look at the page, the words start to swim and scramble.

Mussst still be the effectsss of the jinx put on you.. You think as you try to make sense of it.
