Week Four - Task Twelve - "Team Spirit"

The group of people that had joined have done excellent work so far! You’ve got several floors completely cleaned by the start of this last week of April. You’re realizing that even with how much help you’ve got, you may not get the whole castle clean but you encourage the teams to continue to do their absolute best and decide that they may enjoy a poem about them and their work they’ve done so far.

Your task this week is to write a poem about the work the team has done so far and to help encourage them to continue the way they are. The poem should be at least 75 words and have 10 individual lines. If you have any lines that repeat, those do not count towards the line count.

Please post your reply by April 30th at 11:59PM HOL Time. If you complete all of the Week Four tasks by the end of the month, you’ll receive a BONUS 10 beans/sapphires.

The team has done so well cleaning up the castle,
I appreciate you all; it was a hassle!
Hopefully, this cleaning gave us what we needed this spring,
You've indeed shown us everything you can bring.

We may be unable to get everything clean,
So we'll have to work it into a regular cleaning routine!
Stay focused so we can get what we can done,
And I promise we can all have some fun.

Scrub, sweep and wipe until no dirt is seen.
As a thank you, I'll reward you all with some tasty cuisine.

The Cleaning Squad

From towers high to floors clean,
The castle shines, with a wondrous gleam!
Fourth floor and up, get set ready,
No more dirt, will stay so steady!

Walls and corners, once obscure,
Now sparkle bright, forever pure.
Laughter echoed, friendships cherished,
As dirt and cobwebs, forever banished.

Sunsets painted skies ablaze,
Atop the towers, in a mesmerising gaze.
Friendships bloomed, bonds grew strong,
Together we righted every wrong.

A testament to teamwork's might,
Shining brighter than every light.
So let's keep scrubbing, side by side,
In this grand castle, with hearts of pride.

The Great Hall echoes with the sound,
of students working all around,
Polishing silver, with scrubbing brooms,
Restoring Hogwarts' ancient rooms.

The suits of armor, proud and tall,
Receive attention, one and all,
Their metal gleams, their swords shine bright,
Ready to guard through day and night.

The library's books, with wisdom vast,
are dusted off, their pages cast,
into the air, like butterflies,
Released to seek new readers' eyes.

From dungeons deep to towers high,
The castle echoes with the sigh
of springtime's breath, a gentle breeze,
That whispers secrets through the trees.

See how clean the castle is?
See how we've come so far
How much the castles has lit up
All because we've worked so hard

Doorframes and walls are shining
Sparkling so exceptionally bright
Polished and glittering beautifully
It truly is a remarkable sight

You can see your face in the floors
Not just in the mirrors of glass
Really, this was overdue
But the castle looks perfect at last

All the students are happier
They're grateful, yes, it's true
Because the castle has never looked better
And that's thanks to all of you!

We've cleaned away those cobwebs
We've made light of that dirt and grime
We've waved high those feather dusters
We've made this castle shine.

We've worked hard as a team.
See how far we've come.
But let's not get lazy
We still have work to do.

The castle shines so brightly.
But the dust still lingers.
There's rooms that still need attention.
The cobwebs still remain.

But let's not get discouraged.
We work well as a team.
Together we can do it.
We will bring this castle back to its glory.
